The apartment sits on the first floor of an old house right on the shore road in Colmegna, five kilometres north of Luino. From the balcony you look past the palms and the moored boats to the lake and the mountains on the far shore. The water is thirty paces away.

Living and cooking

One open living room with terracotta floors, a dining table for six and a sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a large gas range, oven, dishwasher and fridge. If you cook for yourself there is room to do it properly – the Wednesday market in Luino is ten minutes by car.

Sleeping

Two separate bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles that can be pushed together. Both look out into greenery, and there is one bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The balcony

The actual reason for this apartment. Wrought-iron railing, a table for two, morning sun. From here you can see the boat coming in from Luino.

Good to know

First floor, no lift. The house stands on the road towards Maccagno – there is traffic during the day, and it is quiet at night. Minimum stay two nights.
