Five minutes north of Luino by car, above the shore road: a renovated ground-floor apartment with a view that takes in the whole arm of the lake. From the chair at the window you look over the treetops to the far shore.
Living and cooking
A bright living room with leather chairs, a round table and French doors onto the balcony. The kitchen is new and complete: dishwasher, oven, fridge – and a Senseo machine with pads, and tea, are part of the deal.
Sleeping and bathing
Two bedrooms with a double bed each, four beds in all. Two newly built bathrooms, one of them en suite, both with level-access rain showers and black fittings.
What else there is
The house has a wine cellar with a counter and bar stools. Golf clubs can be hired at five euro a day per set (three sets), and a 40 hp motorboat registered for up to seven people at 99 euro a day plus fuel. For barbecuing there is garden space and the balcony.
Good to know
Free parking on the grounds. Washing machine and dryer are provided, pets are welcome. The apartment is set up for four guests; an air bed can additionally be inflated in the living room. Walking and swimming both start at the door.
