Maccagno lies twelve kilometres north of Luino, where the lake narrows and the shore turns steep. The apartment belongs to a lakefront complex: ground floor, with its own stretch of lawn outside the door and a brick archway in front of it, with the dining table in the shade beneath. The pebble beach is under two minutes away.

Outside

The garden is the reason for this apartment. You have breakfast under the arch, looking across the lawn to the lake and the mountains on the Swiss shore, and in the evening it is quiet here. The complex has a pool and a terrace at the water.

Living and cooking

A bright living room with a sofa, dining table and open kitchen. Fully equipped, with hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher. TV, WiFi and air conditioning throughout.

Sleeping

One bedroom with a double bed, plus an additional single bed in the living room – up to three guests in all. One bathroom with a level-access shower. Linen and towels are provided.

Good to know

Ground floor, no stairs. Free parking on the grounds. Pets welcome by arrangement. The pool is seasonal. Maccagno has a station, a baker and a supermarket within walking distance, and the boats to Luino and Cannobio call here.
