Weekly Market

The famed Italian markets attract visitors globally. Every Wednesday in Luino, on the Italian side of Lake Maggiore, a large market takes place. On Sundays, there's a similar market in Cannobio, also by the lake. The Saturday market in Intra/Verbania is nearly as big as the one in Luino, but less crowded. Traveling by car during summer can be stressful due to packed roads and limited parking in the villages. Alternatively, you can reach these places by boat using the public boat line. Luino is serviced by a ferry from Maccagno - ideal for guests of THE CAMP.

The market's offerings, especially the original Italian foods - cheese, ham, oil, fruits, and vegetables, are sure to impress. Sample the delicacies and compare prices, especially for items like cheese and ham. There's room for negotiation on pricier items like leather goods.

Weekly markets offer clothing, leather goods, Italian specialties, fresh fruit, vegetables, antipasti, ham, cheese, wine, and oil. A visit is worthwhile!
